Planed timber UK Delivery

All planed wood orders via Woodubuy.com are available for delivery throughout the UK. If you are based in the Scottish highlands there may be additional charges due to logistics. Delivery restrictions / charges may apply to northern island. If there are any changes to pricing you will be contacted before production begins, therefore there is no risk.

Planed or Sawn timber?

Planed timber, from Woodubuy, will leave you with a completely finished piece of wood, meaning there is no extra work needed, unless you would like to treat it, mould it or cut it to length yourself. We do recommend that you sand the wood once ready to use, although planed - sanding is great to provide the final touch. The level of sanding is determined by your desired finish. Planed timber is perfect as a smooth faced board with great versatility.

You may decide to choose to buy sawn timber, this can then be planed and machined for any use. You may even want to leave as a rough sawn finish. Our boards are typically sawn with square edges. All faces at 90 degrees. Buying as sawn - will save you money as less machine and setup is completed by Woodubuy, if you have the skills and tools why not!
